Often when I see the Picture of the day on Wikipedia (or on the Commons), I say, "Cool! I want a copy of that!". Since all the images on Wikipedia are free, it's perfectly legal for me to copy them to iPhoto.

The only problem is how time-consuming it is to download an image, copy it into iPhoto, delete the downloaded file, etc. This applescript does all that for you. Using a Quicksilver trigger, all I have to do when viewing a cool image in Safari is type "Cmd-Alt-Ctl-I" to import it. Thus my impressive collection of very random images:
