Freedom A I have faith D E enough to trust that God will hear my fervent prayer D any time and anywhere, E D E when I am without blame and I call upon his name. A But if we are free D E and grace is real and the Gospel is true, D then he's also with you E D E when you're struggling with doubt, with no strength to call out D E D E And that knowledge isn't serving my belief in my deserving D E D E all the love that I've received on account of I've believed. D E D E 'Cause I would rather say that I've earned his love today. A D But it's for freedom that Christ has set us free; A D do not be deceived. A D There's no need to be ashamed of liberty A D too good to be believed. I have faith enough to trust that God is smiling down on me when I live righteously, when I walk in his commands and meet all his demands. But if Jesus Christ bled and died and was raised from the grave then you are also saved if you're living in sin but you cast yourself on him. E D Freedom! He brings freedom. A D A D Don't take again the yoke of slavery; do not be deceived. A D A D Stop yearning for the days of tyranny, the simple land we leave.
